| Gabe's Experience: Gabe Horton is the President and Executive Director of Pawster Nashville, a position which currently encompasses the traditional duties of an executive director, to oversee day-to-day operations of the organization. He started in this position as a volunteer, and began receiving a salary of $40,000 annually on July 1, 2021. This was raised to $45,000 in 2022. He holds a Master of Divinity (2015) with a focus on organizational leadership from Vanderbilt Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts (2011) from Vanderbilt University. He brings six years experience in organizational leadership in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Prior to launching Pawster, Mr. Horton worked for OPUS Inspection, global leader in vehicle safety and emission testing. Prior to his work with OPUS, Mr. Horton served as a Licensed Local Pastor in the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church. |
