| joseph's Experience: Joseph Gutierrez is Filipino and is originally from Los Angeles, CA. His background is in education and he taught English as a Second Language in South Korea for five years before moving to Nashville in 2014. He has an M.Ed in Community Development & Action from Vanderbilt University where his studies focused on organizations, communities, and out-of-school learning spaces. Outside of API Middle Tennessee, Joseph is involved in the community through his work at the Dan and Margaret Maddox Fund. He was a fellow of the 2019 cohort of the Mosaic Changemakers and the 2021 class of Nashville Emerging Leaders. | |
