Description
We offer classes in the area of trauma informed care. We offer classes on trauma healing, boundaries, faith and finance, and Story of God. In 2023, we plan to offer Work Life classes to better equip our community to become wholistic and elevate trauma practices in daily life.

Trauma Healing - an important class (really, more of a group) that addresses hard questions around naming, understanding, and processing pain and suffering - all in light of God's design, His care for the broken-hearted, and His healing power.

Boundaries - a class about healthy relationships and when, where, and how to draw boundaries based on the best-selling book Boundaries.

Faith & Finances - a class about financial stewardship and money as a tool in the greater story of God's Kingdom in the world. Participants track spending, build budgets, learn about debt and saving, and more.

Work Life - a workforce development class that examines who God has made us to be, and how we have unique gifts and skills.
Program Successes
From Participant Voice:

I consider myself extremely BLESSED to have gotten an invitation to be a part of this LIFE-giving counseling group and sessions. It came at a time when I was in a very dark place trying to cope with grief, broken relationships, a pandemic, civil unrest, sickness, family members and so much more. Counseling and therapy wasn't new for me, yet I couldn't shake the depression I felt especially not on my own.

I thank God that HE knows what we need, who we need and when we need it! I needed a booster shot in the form of counseling to help me to get on the other side of what I was experiencing. I was given the tools along with courage to identify trauma, land mines and old wounds that never fully healed. She gave the understanding of the stages of grief, coping vs resilience, isolation vs solitude, trans generational trauma, the importance of self-care and so much more.

I was able to apply everything that we learned to better my life and the lives of others.
