Description
The Coalition of 100 Black Women's economic empowerment programs focus on financial literacy, family wealth building, and entrepreneurship. Programs include comprehensive workshops and seminars that promote economic self-sufficiency. Sister-Nomic$, the newly branded NCBW philosophical mindset promotes a sustainable path to economic empowerment.

Health is a vital component of a thriving community. NCBW is concerned about the well-being of the whole community and the whole person: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Increase access to cancer treatment and prevention programs for African Americans in urban areas. Partner with local community-based organizations and provide public and health care education regarding cancer prevention and early detection. Decrease the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
Short-term Success

By supporting positive experiences, fostering a positive self-perception and self-respect, encouraging excellence in education and promoting the pursuit of positive lifelong goals, NCBW is creating future leaders.

100 Queens Mentoring Program

NCBW partnered with Metro Nashville Public Schools Haynes Middle School to pilot the 100 Queens Mentoring program consisting of two cohorts totaling ten females in the 7th and 8th grades.
Members of NCBW facilitated bimonthly, one hour sessions covering Selfcare, Positive Self Image, Social Media Safety, Anti Bullying, Conflict Resolution, Mental
Program Successes
The Chapter's Education Committee partnered with Vanderbilt University School of Science and Math and Metro Nashville Public Schools 'STEM department to design a virtual workshop addressing the need to expose students of color to diverse STEM professionals. The Chapter hosted a virtual even for high school students interested in college-level STEM studies and STEM careers. Teachers commented how valuable it was for students to have this chance to meet relatable African American professionals.

NCBW partnered with Metro Nashville Public Schools Haynes Middle School to pilot the 100 Queens Mentoring program consisting of ten female in the 7th /8th grades. The program launched in 2022 with a Holiday meet and greet event followed by facilitated bi monthly one hour sessions covering Selfcare. Positive Self Image, Social Media Safety, Anti Bullying, Conflict Resolution, Mental Health Awareness, Nutrition and Exercise, Financial Literacy, and Career Exploration.
