Description
Archie's Promise has partnered with Rutherford County Schools, Office of Coordinated School Health in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Archie's Promise will introduce the concept of hygiene vending machines to nearby district schools as part of our collaboration. The hygiene vending machines are filled with feminine products, regular hygiene packs for men and women, soap, deodorant, and other hygiene products. We customize the machines based on the products we place in them. All items in the machines are free and accessible to all students. Rutherford County has five locations for hygiene vending machines: three high schools, one middle school, and one elementary school.

LaVergne High School, Rockvale High School, Riverdale High School, Christiana Middle School, and Mitchell Nelison Elementary School have Archie's Promise hygiene vending machines. We will remove six schools from the waiting list for the 24-25 academic year.

Formal Dress Program relieves the financial burden from the family or individual and helps to reinforce their self-value. This program accepts referrals from guidance counselors, social workers, case workers, homeless shelters, and other certified officials. Depending on the situation of the family or the individual the formal/business wear will be donated free of cost or sold at an affordable price. Each situation is unique. The Archie and Idalene Formal Shoppe is open to public. Appointments can be made online or by calling to schedule an appointment.
