CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
The vision of CCSI to transform lives and build legacies is alive and well. CCSI alumni are sharing their stories, sharing their newfound knowledge and encouraging others to apply for services so they too can experience transformation. In some cases alumni are literally walking prospective participants into the office. Others have come full circle and are donating to CCSI and serving as staff, volunteers, and Board members.Having CCSI alumni on the Board adds a richness of experiential knowledge to the quality of input and services that are offered. CCSI Board members are all volunteers and like most, have to juggle competing priorities. However, despite competing demands on their time, energy, expertise and other resources including finances, the CCSI Board members have proven their commitment to this work of service by their actions. For this we are deeply appreciative. Together we continue to research and attend trainings to stay abreast of changing needs and to engage in professional development that better prepares us to do this work of service. Rietta Turner, Executive Director, 4/2016 to Present |
