CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

Like most non-profit organizations, one of our biggest challenges for the governance of this organization is to further increase the diversity of its board of directors. This has been a weakness for some time. Efforts have been made to identify, recruit, and select individuals who are diverse in racial, vocational, and political arenas. As for the opportunities, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee seeks to continue its path to more growth. Areas of opportunity include expansion into schools and recreational sites in which our youth development programs can serve more youth who are in need of our services. Through such partnerships, the organization will be able to provide these services in a more efficient and effective manner.
