CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
We are pleased to have attracted new volunteers, some of whom are descendants of the builders of Lonesome, and others local historical preservationists. We are also glad of several local citizens who are donating work and material to the site. Some new volunteers are planning and organizing our Bicentennial celebration in October 2021. Our application for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (which has been approved) was largely carried out by board members and volunteers. |
