Executive Director Ms. Mary Caudle
E-mail ctr7528@hotmail.com
Term Start August 2021
Mary's Experience: Loo, as she prefers to be called, has been the Executive Director of the Center since August 2021. She began her tour at the Center as a volunteer on the Board of Directors special committee, During this time, she was a caregiver for her mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease. She developed a love for the Center and after her mother's death, became the Volunteer Coordinator for the Center, adding many volunteers and bringing all-time high volunteer hours to the Center, which produced more programs and activities. Loo also saw the need for volunteers to serve as a team, instead of individually to reduce volunteer burnout.
Loo has a loving personality, and is a 'mother' to all, showing concern and love. Her belief is to get the word out to all in the community about the Center, to help those in need, provide exercise, brain health, education, social programs, reduce elder abuse, support and be an encouragement for caregivers, fight for the rights of the disabled, underserved, and elderly, those in need of food or housing, and most of all, she loves to put a smile on everyone's face.

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

The Center's records are audited annually and the Center is also monitored yearly by Greater Nashville Regional Council on Aging and Disability which is an agency of the Tennessee Commission on Aging & Disability. The challenges continue to be: 1) finding needed resources for at-risk seniors 2) securing operating funds annually 3) finding qualified staff to fill all Center positions on our budget The opportunities are: 1) providing a wide range of activities and programs for older adults with physical and mental limitations. 2) Continuing to improve the quality of life for these seniors.
