| Nancy's Experience: Results-driven and innovative, Nancy is a nonprofit leader with twenty years of experience in nonprofit leadership, including fundraising, program development, staff development and management, partnership building, resource management, strategic planning, public relations, and advocacy. She has served as Executive Director or CEO of three local nonprofit organizations, MADD Tennessee, Hospital Hospitality House of Nashville and Project Reflect, as well as in senior leadership positions at Crisis Intervention Center and Monroe Harding Children's Home. Nancy's deep commitment to her community is reflected in her ongoing volunteer service which has included terms on the Board of Directors of the Mid-Cumberland Council on Children & Youth, the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, and the Davidson County Foster Review Board. She has also contributed her time and talents through volunteer work with Book 'Em, Room in the Inn, and various other church and civic programs. In 2014, Nancy co-founded Transformation Nashville, an organization serving children and families living in poverty. She received a MBA from Western Governors University, an MA from the University of Memphis, and her BA from Lipscomb University. She lives in East Nashville with her husband, jazz musician and professor Danny Ray Martin, and their three children, Danielle, Jeremy, and Sophia. | |

| Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has a talented, passionate, and dedicated staff. We are mission focused and tireless in our efforts to serve. We see Bridges as the hub of services and programs for the Deaf and hard of hearing communities, and we want to provide excellent, innovative programs that touch lives from birth through elder years. We also want to collaborate with other agencies to remove barriers and to improve access for those we serve and to ensure efficacy and efficiency in the work we do. We have high expectations of ourselves, our work and our professionalism, yet everything we do is rooted in the idea of community and relationship. |
