Each year the FOLL sponsors an author, who writes for students between K- 12, to make presentations at 6 Rutherford County schools, and at a Linebaugh Library evening program. The schools must apply for this. Schools are chosen from a pool of those who have not had this opportunity for at least 3 years. The $50 fee paid by each school goes to their receipt of a bag of this author's books for the school.
