Description
To provide counseling to family members of participants to help them to understand addiction and how to heal themselves. Such treatment is necessary to rebuild addicts' lives and the affected community. We welcome spouses, children, parents, and other close family members whose lives have been affected by participants' addictions. Addiction is a family disease and it is essential that family members be educated and given the opportunity to work through issues with the addict in a safe, guided environment. This will benefit the community at large while also contributing to the likelihood of long-term sobriety amongst our participants by allowing them the opportunity to work through fundamental issues in a safe and professionally guided environment.

Description
To provide a non-adversarial, cost-effective treatment alternative to traditional sentencing for non-violent offenders whose crimes result from drug or alcohol addiction. To this end, we work with representatives of law enforcement and the courts to divert offenders to our two-year, supervised program that includes random drug and alcohol testing and consistent treatment by an on-staff LCSW as well as community volunteers. The program educates participants as to basic life skills while providing them with the tools for a sober, healthy lifestyle. The program requires and assists in securing safe and affordable housing, employment, pursuing education, and maintaining healthy relationships.

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

One of our biggest challenges is that of housing in Williamson County. The Recovery Court office is located in Franklin. Housing is at a premium and is very scarce. Most of our participants cannot afford to live here. Participants often cannot return to homes of families as these residences often are not conducive to their recovery. The need for a residential facility is huge.
