Centerstone's Military Service offers a network of providers, peer support services and strong partnerships with the Cohen Veterans Network and Wounded Warrior Project to support active-duty service members, Reserves, National Guard, veterans and their families. We understand the hesitation to seek care and the stigma surrounding mental illness in the military. An individual may feel that seeking help conflicts with their self-image as a strong person or does the same to the image of their brothers and sisters in arms. Centerstone stands firm in the fact that mental health is vital to wellness and believes that there is strength in help when needed. Services are available nationwide, via telehealth, in Centerstone clinics, and our three specialty military clinics (Fayetteville, NC, Jacksonville, FL and Clarksville, TN). Services include: counseling, therapeutic retreats, couples/family counseling, housing assistance, employment counseling, online support groups, classes and workshops.

Description
Our main goal is closing the research-to-practice gap so our clients can receive excellent care and achieve their best outcomes. Given the significant challenges in adapting, implementing, and sustaining evidence-based practices, we bring technology, innovation, and multidisciplinary approaches to the forefront in all we do.

With departments in Clinical Education, Clinical Research, Clinical Transformation and Quality, Implementation Science, and Program Evaluation, we work to translate science into evidence-based clinical practice, thereby reducing the research-to-practice gap. We have an interdisciplinary team composed of psychologists, implementation scientists, counselor educators, program evaluators, social workers, public health advisors, statisticians, data analyst and architects, clinical transformation specialists, quality improvement professionals, and design thinking experts - supporting the mission of Centerstone.
