Description
4:13 Strong is a faith-based program that radically transforms the lives of at-risk young men in Middle Tennessee. By immersing participants in an intensive, daily, residential program, 4:13 Strong provides opportunities for them to succeed personally and professionally. The first phase of the program includes curriculum focused on both professional and life-skills training. In the second phase, 4:13 Strong helps participants secure meaningful, full-time employment through a well- established network of Job Partners. These Job Partners are primarily in the construction industry and include some of the most respected names in Middle Tennessee. Graduation is the final phase of the program. In order to graduate, participants must complete 4 months of continuous work, as well as all previous phases, and meet additional personal and financial criteria set by staff to prepare them for a life of independence and self-sufficiency after the program.

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

4:13 Strong is looking to increase the success rate of participants beyond the program. Typically, men spend 6-8 months living on-campus, working, and being held accountable to their commitments by each other and 4:13 Strong staff. In order to improve this long-term outlook, 4:13 Strong is developing a transitions program for men to live on campus one-year beyond program graduation, particularly for those participants who are previously court-involved. This opportunity will allow participants a safe place to live, while continuing to work towards their personal and professional goals. This opportunity will also allow more time for men to develop habits of accountability for themselves.
