In addition to funding, how can someone support your organization?
Want to get involved? There are many ways you can make a difference! Wish List- We always have items that our Outreach Team and Emergency Shelter need. We maintain a current list of the most needed items on our website. Ongoing needs include: protein snacks, white socks, rain ponchos, and bottled water. If you'd like to donate any of these items, they can be dropped off Monday- Friday at our office on Charlotte Avenue. Got friends? We love visitors, giving tours, and sharing the Oasis story! Help us spread the word by sharing Oasis with your friends. Like us on Facebook, Instagram and follow us on Twitter, check out our website, or reach out to us to set up a tour. Giving- All of the services we offer to young people are free because of the incredible support we receive from Oasis friends like you. Feel free to reach out to us to talk about how we can partner in this way. Our website also offers the convenience of online giving if you'd like to make a financial contribution. Volunteering- We believe that change happens from the direct engagement and partnership from the community. Much of our work is centered on building positive relationships with young people and providing continuity is hugely important. Because of this, we ask for a year commitment for volunteer opportunities working directly with young people. Some of our current volunteer opportunities include: * Assembling snack packs or lunch packs for our young people who are experiencing homelessness * Tutoring with Oasis College Connection * Providing administrative support to a variety of our programs, particularly with social media and marketing support We are always looking for new and creative volunteering opportunities - if you have something that you love to do and are willing to share with our young people, we'd love to hear about it!Organization Information
