YWCA Nashville and Middle Tennessee is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. It is the vision of YWCA Nashville and Middle Tennessee to focus on women and girls who desire to create a better quality of life for themselves and/or their families; to achieve self-sufficiency; and to increase their financial strength. YWCA will also be a spokesperson for those women who have no voice. Further, we will raise the awareness and diminish the incidence of violence and racism.

They provide an opportunity for our clients to shop for themselves - an empowering exercise! They also allow us to purchase items as needed, thereby alleviating our storage challenges.

- New or gently used twin or full-size blankets (no bedspreads, quilts, or comforters, please)

Your generous donation helps YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee improve and save the lives of thousands of women, children & families. In addition to funding, you can make a significant difference in individuals' lives by joining our YWCA VOLUNTEER TEAM. We offer several volunteer roles for adults who have availability on weekdays. Unfortunately, our schedule doesn't accommodate volunteer shifts on evenings or weekends. We practice COVID safety measures in alignment with Davidson County and local guidance. Currently, mask-wearing is optional while serving in-person at any of our facilities.
