CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

The Concert Chorale has run, since its founding, on a shoe string and a prayer. We have been able to maintain extremely high musical quality with a totally-volunteer group of members, including our conductor, but we are facing increasing competition for members from organizations which can afford to provide stipends for the chorale members and staff. We have been fortunate to begin to attract local sponsorships from the Memorial Foundation, O'Charley's Restaurants, and Cracker Barrel, which accounts for our increase in income at various points over the years, and we plan to use these funds to provide at least a nominal salary for our accompanist and funds for our soloists and instrumentalists we engage from time to time to play on our concerts.

Foundation Staff Comments

Small tax-exempt organizations whose annual gross receipts are $25,000 or less are required to submit Form 990-N, also known as the e-Postcard, unless they choose to file a complete 990 or 990-EZ.
