CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
| Family & Children's Service is governed by a strong set of by-laws. The Executive Committee meets ten times a year. The full Board meets four times a year. Each Board meeting includes a generative or strategic thinking component. The Board also participates twice annual engagement meetings that focus on one program area within the agency. We adhere to a learning organization model of operating which includes shared vision, systems thinking, team learning, mental models, and personal mastery. We strive to operate as an open system, which involves transparency at all levels and interacting with employees as strategic partners. The agency leadership team meets monthly. The President/CEO and Executive Leadership Team meets weekly. Training is provided to front line management staff on a quarterly basis. The decisions we make are mission driven and the expectation is for the outcome to ultimately advance the mission. |
