| Tanya's Experience: Tanya Sturm worked for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for over 12 years as the Program Services Director and granted more than 1100 wishes during her time with the foundation. Prior to becoming an employee for the foundation, she was a volunteer for 3 years with the wish granting organization DreamMakers; which eventually evolved into Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. Tanya was responsible for working directly with the physicians and social workers regarding the child's eligibility, working directly with the wish child and their family to ensure each wish was appropriate for the child and making sure all details were in place for the wish, she managed over 150 volunteers for the foundation and worked directly with the Development Director on individual and corporate wish sponsorship. | |
