| Christa's Experience: California native, Christa Bowles, relocated to middle-Tennessee to further grow the Nikki Mitchell Foundation's mission of preventing, detecting and curing pancreas cancer. Christa began her non-profit career with the American Heart Association before moving on to serve the University of California Irvine for over six years. There, she started an annual fundraising event that now raises over a million dollars annually for cancer research. After nearly five years with the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, she accepted the role of Executive Director at the end of 2023. As we look to the future, Christa's focus remains steadfast on keeping Nikki's name and spirit alive in everything the foundation does. She is excited about the potential to grow NMF's patient programs, fund meaningful research and committed to ensuring that the foundation continues to thrive. | |
