Henry's Experience: Mr. Miller as the Founder & Executive Director of Living Development Concepts has gained extensive business knowledge and negotiating skills. Henry has 30+ years of experience in the real estate, as well a member of Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors (all for over 30 years). As a Licensed Residential Contractor since 2004, he has an extensive knowledge of housing development and the construction industry. As a licensed realtor for Cornerstone Realty, he is known for his creative financing ability years early on into his real estate career along with perseverance, honesty, and fairness. He is a proud alum of Middle Tennessee State University, graduating with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Henry is a Notary Public at Large with strong ties to the community. He completed the Barnes 2017 Nonprofit Capacity Building Program Cohort, created by the Nashville Mayor's office in partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Management and the National Development Council. This capacity building program was designed to strengthen the management capacity of local nonprofit developers, with a focus on affordable housing finance and development. In addition to the cohort-based training, the program includes tailored technical assistance from local nonprofit experts.

Due of our strong community ties, background, and community knowledge, we can approach the affordable housing challenge from a unique lens -- working with individual families, one home at a time, to ensure sustainability of these efforts. In doing so, we build affordable, quality homes, ensuring homeowners have the education and support to remain in their homes, and create vibrant, diverse neighborhoods. As such, our goals are to become a leader in developing housing for very poor and low income individuals. During this process our Board has served not just as a Board....but as a group of experts.....a team of consultants that can be relied upon to discuss problems and solutions. It is important that the organization maintain a well -balanced structure to guarantee all phases of the organization reflects our ongoing commitment to our mission and goals. We must conduct and manage our non-profit agency like a business...taking small risks and make decisions to grow the organization.
