Stacia's Experience: Stacia Freeman, MA (CEO) is the founder and CEO of Epic Girl. Stacia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Audiology. During her 10 years as Executive Director of Abolition International, Stacia recognized the need for secondary prevention curriculums dedicated to identifying root causes leading to risks and developing educational protocols to prevent negative consequences such as trafficking from occurring. In 2012, Stacia began serving youth in the Davidson County Juvenile Court system leading her to pilot the programs in 2015 that would ultimately lead to the founding of EPIC GIRL in 2016. In her capacity, Stacia has also worked as a trainer for Child Protective Services, providing instruction on high risk behaviors in teen girls. She has also been a yearly speaker at the Court Professional's State Conference since 2012 on the topics of risks for sex trafficking in teen girls and the prevention of negative outcomes.
