Our mission is to produce a generation of financially knowledgeable, responsible and empowered youth.

Impact

Young Money Matters Financial Literacy Summit: In recognition of Financial Literacy month, we hosted a half-day of financial education for Nashville high school students. Opportunity Now: We are the financial literacy partner for Nashville's summer youth employment program, Opportunity Now. We designed a collegiate curriculum with the goal of reducing student loan borrowing rates. Super Money Kids: We launched our 'Super Money Kids' program, where we teach personal finance to elementary students. MDHA: We have set a goal to offer our workshops in each MDHA community in Nashville.

Needs

The organizations top 5 needs are as follows:1. Ambassador Program - Knowledge Bank's vision of creating a generation of financially knowledgeable, responsible and empowered youth lies within our ability to infuse our message of financial responsibility within the culture of teenagers. Our goal is to select 10-15 student ambassadors who will uphold the values of the Knowledge Bank and serve as junior #HopeDealers in their respective schools and communities. 2. Sponsorship for our Young Money Matters Summit - The Young Money Matters Summit for is an annual day of financial education for high school students. During the summit, students will learn core financial principles and have the opportunity to win prizes for various collaborative projects and competitions. 3. Financial Literacy Radio ad campaign - Two components of our mission are to make financial literacy accessible to more students and to change the culture in which people perceive and manage their personal finances. This initiative satisfies each of these components. Radio ads give us an additional channel to share positive propaganda. 4. Sponsor 60 students to complete an 8 week financial literacy series. 5. 35 tablets for the digital elements of our curriculum
