Our community partner agencies sign up to visit our warehouse "shop". They come with lists of items to collect for the children they serve - some partners come multiple times a week and some pick up for 10 kids at a time. They go back to their agencies, non-profits, or schools and give the families items needed on behalf of Mother To Mother. This method allows partner organizations to stay focused on their mission while allowing us to come alongside as a silent partner to serve their families.

Some of the Nashville based NPOs that we serve include:
Centerstone
TN Health Department - CHANT
Nashville General Hospital
Nurture The Next
Catholic Charities
Conexion Americas
St. Luke's Community House

Program Successes
Through the goods MTM supplies, pregnant moms can embrace the joy of their impending birth, knowing they will have the basic needs to keep their babies safe and happy. I recently encountered a young immigrant woman that was seven months pregnant and in the middle of a domestic violence situation. Her living condition left her sleeping on the floor.

MTM let this first time mom engage the excitement and confidence of preparing for the baby soon to come. The fear of not being able to provide a car seat, clothes, safe bed, and all the other necessities faded when I delivered the initial gifts from MTM.

The baby girl delivered in early March is thriving, as is her mom. Money still needs to be stretched to meet the ongoing needs of this growing little one. MTM is still helping with changing sizes and needs of this precious little girl.

It is comforting to know there are quality provisions that bring safety and dignity to those babies and moms that otherwise wouldn't be able to access.
