The Center for Catholic Education, in conjunction with the Aquinas College School of Education, serves Catholic elementary and secondary schools by providing spiritual and professional formation opportunities in the area of mission and Catholic identity.

Description
The School of Education at Aquinas College is committed to empowering teachers to make a difference for each student they teach. Our entire curriculum is based upon Catholic teaching and recognizes that every student is created in the image of God and is blessed with inherent dignity and eternal worth.
Aquinas College offers undergraduate programs to prepare candidates for education licensure in the State of Tennessee. The areas of specialization are Elementary Education, Secondary Education (English), and Secondary Education (History).
Graduate studies in the School of Education include a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Teaching and Learning for those already in the teaching field, and two Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) programs, Elementary and Secondary respectively, for those holding bachelor degrees in other fields who would like to pursue teaching.
