Description
1) Central Call Center to screen potential applicants for eligibility and provide entry into our service system. 2) Comprehensive Hearing Evaluations provided to qualified applicants if they haven't had one in the prior six months. 3) New, digital hearing aids provided to those who qualify based on family size and household income 4) Education and awareness initiatives including participation in health fairs, community presentations, and web-based information about hearing health and hearing loss issues.

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

We have continued to see about a 30% increase in annual calls/emails to our call center. Currently, our call center staff has contact with each potential patient three to four times before the patient is fitted with their hearing aids. Once a referral is made, we find that only about half of those people complete the appropriate paperwork and actually submit an application. It is important to note that 99.9% of those that complete an application are approved. Additional clinic resources are needed so that we can continue to grow outside of the Metro Nashville area and continue of growth.
