Through the Lumina Foundation we are designated as a Talent Hub. We work with other community based organizations and employers who are working to close equity gaps in our city by connecting adults to education, and providing career guidance . Though the Talent Hub, we can ensure that every resident has a clear path to prosperity by providing free tuition and advising services.

Description
In October 2020, JP Morgan Chase announced a five-year, $7 million investment in the Nashville community. New Skills Ready grant will support the seamless transition of underrepresented students from K-12 into postsecondary to earn a credential or degree and enter a high-wage, high-demand career.

Description
To cultivate a workforce that exceeds the needs of current and future employers by providing Nashville students with a high-quality public education and post secondary pipeline. The Foundation has been a lead partner in the Academies of Nashville since their inception. The Academies bring a unique career and thematic focus to educational instruction within each of Metro Nashville Public Schools' twelve zoned high schools. The program prepares students for college and career options post graduation. In addition to supporting the Academies, the Foundation has also provided necessary funds for students to take industry certification exams. The percentage of students taking and receiving industry certifications has increased steadily since 2011. 2006-2018

Description
To produce a comprehensive and community-led perspective on salient issues and challenges facing Metro Nashville Public Schools. The product of the Report Card Committee, the Education Report Card provides relevant metrics, recommendations, commendations and concerns directly related to Metro Nashville Public Schools. The Committee is comprised of volunteers who meet weekly over the course of five months to learn about MNPS through school visits, conversations with district leaders, panels with pertinent stakeholders and data review. This process results in a written report published annually in December and released to the public.
