Description
Our year-end milestone, Bridge to Kids Christmas, is a highlight year after year. 2022 was our third year distributing gifts and food bags in a drive-thru model, allowing us to serve thousands. More than 300 gift wrappers, food bag packers, and volunteers came out in full force to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the city.

Bridge to you area of ministry evolved to direct service to hundreds of families and individuals and is currently serving multiple distribution sites throughout the greater nashville area.
We strive to be a clean conduit by which resources can flow to fulfill other organizations needs.

We partner with MNPS to fill each child's backpack with a Bridge bag that are designed to bridge the gap between Fridays and Mondays.
in 2020 Our Bridge to Kids Program distributed over 143,000 Bridge Bags that provided over 555,000 meals to families in need all across Nashville and surroundings areas.

In 2022 alone, we partnered with 86 schools and after-school programs. Distributed 201,700 food bags and snacks to those schools and programs.

Description
Church Under the Bridge happens every Tuesday night for the last 17 years. The homeless, working poor (ranges from 300 - 500 guests) gather under the Jefferson Street bridge.
Our team arrives in our food trailers box trucks with prepared hot food to be plated, the box trucks are loaded with groceries, clothing, blankets, hygiene items, music equipment and chairs.
As the volunteers arrive (approx. 100 a night) they are assigned to their place of service and the setup begins. Within 30 minutes, the bridge is transformed into a service ministry. Everyone receives a delicious hot meal and participates in a powerful worship service followed by a message of hope. At the close of service we distribute 15,000 - 25,000 pounds of food, clothing and toiletries to our guests.

| Our greatest challenge is not having a facility to bring the homeless in out of the inclement weather. Our other challenges as with any non-profit organization is consistency in income. |
