NAIA is proud to host one of the largest Pow Wows east of the Mississippi River each year at Long Hunter State Park the third weekend of October.
Program Successes
We have overwhelming positive feedback from our event which has always been peaceful in spite of its large size (over 16,000 people over the course of three days on our busiest year). We support hundreds of traditional artisans and performers, and provide educational experiences at no cost to school children every Friday of the event.

| Like any non-profit, financing is always a challenge. We currently have five staff members working in a small 4-room former residence. We are working to raise the funds to build the Circle of Life Indian Cultural Center. We were included in the Governor's budget for 2019 and are using that money as matching funds for a federal grant to build the Indian Center. |
