School leaders hold the school's program in coherent alignment with this vision and are poised to make dramatic progress in the area of STEM instruction. The Akiva School's most important goals, as expressed by its Head of School and lead Technology coordinator, are as follows: 1. Developing a 5 year plan for STEM instruction that strategically imparts key skills across the span of grades K-6 and takes immediate steps towards partial implementation during the 2016-2017 academic year. 2. Developing a close partnership with an Israeli school that will team American and Israeli peers around similar content and project based learning challenges. 3.
