CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
Justice Industries continues to make slow, but steady progress in providing job opportunities for our employees. We passionately believe that our success depends on growing program income by building a solid customer base for all of our industries, so our fundraising efforts can be directed towards executive leadership and capital investments. Just.Glass has a big environmental impact, keeping 250 tons of glass from the landfill annually. But Justice Industries overall, has a relatively small "human impact." We can't compete with organizations educating hundreds of children, or a food bank providing 500 meals a week. We've been declined by some funders because our "numbers served" aren't as impressive as other non-profits. But our employees receive more than one-time assistance. They all gain a sustainable income along with the dignity that comes from having a job, moving them consistently closer to becoming contributors to our community. |
