| When I was a student studying Nonprofit Management my professor told us that "within the first 5 years don't hire anyone don't outsource use friends and family to get things done. this was because no one will love your baby like you do. " I've taken this to heart and have seen the burdens and the stuggles of doing things alone and I can't I need to depend and lean on the board more and find those who don't mind being on the board that will care passionately about the mission and the organization like I do. This upcoming year I am seeking more hands on board and forming committees - Gordon- CEO/ President "Challenges with our organization's governance is time and schedule differences. Outside of the organization we are all working individual jobs, but we have been addressing these challenges with open group messages through text and Facebook, along with hosting group chat through video conference" - Dunn, Board Vice President "This organization is a wonderful place to have upcoming students. The challenges we face as an organization are nothing that any new organization or business doesn't go through. Simple things like promoting the organization for others to participate in activities or programs, having the right funding and resources to better this still fairly new organization and improving our organizations board and overall marketing.
