CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

The Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America serves 37 mid-state counties and Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Since our council was organized in 1920, many thousands of youth have benefited from the character building programs of Scouting that are a time-honored tradition in our area. Using a series of age appropriate programs, many of which are outdoor oriented, Scouting instills values in the youth we serve including teamwork, respect for peers and adults, self reliance, an appreciation of our environment and the value of community service. The Cub and Boy Scout programs serve boys ages 6-17 and the Exploring, Learning for Life and Venturing programs serve both boys and girls ages 14-20. Our Executive Board, volunteers and staff remain committed to serving youth with an active and viable Scouting program that delivers a quality experience to all involved both this year and for generations to come.
