Description
This program teaches boys and girls in grades 1 through 5 or ages 6-10 years of age an awareness of self & family, respect for peers & adults, goal orientation, teamwork, and the value of community service. Girls and Boys in Cub Scouts meet weekly and the program is conducted year-round.

Description
Girls and boys in single gender units (total of 241 Troops) in grades 6 thru 8 or ages 11-18 years in Williamson County participate in Scouts BSA. Through many outdoor adventures, character building exercises, working on merit badges ranging from first aid, geocaching, engineering, chemistry to communication and through rank advancements, all conducted by trained volunteer leaders and camp counsellors, the youth is encouraged to attain the highest rank in Scouting, the rank of Eagle.

Description
This program teaches boys and girls ages 14-20 goal orientation, teamwork, self reliance, leadership skills, respect for the outdoors, and the value of community service. Youth in the Venturing Program meet weekly and the program is conducted year-round. Many of the program features are taught in an outdoor setting.

STEM Scouts use experiential activities and interaction with STEM professionals, the goal of the program is to help young people grow in skills and character as they explore their curiosity of the STEM fields. It is hoped that growing knowledge will translate into STEM related careers that is crucial to growing the country's future economy.

This program gives boys and girls ages 14-20 a hands on look into their chosen career field before they make a commitment to that career with further education or accepting a job in that line of work. Exploring also teaches teamwork, respect for peers & adults, leadership skills and the value of community service. Youth in Exploring meet twice a month during the school year.
