William's Experience: After fleeing the genocide in Rwanda, William Mwizerwa arrived to the United States. A few years later, his family was able to join him. Soon after, word began to spread that William was an asset and a leader for the refugee community. He began to help newly arrived single Sudanese men or the 'Lost Boys.' These men had lost their families at a very young age and looked to William for guidance and support. With William's help, they got jobs, went to school and learned valuable skills they needed to navigate their new life in the United States. William Mwizerwa decided to continue helping his community and has worked to empower refugees and communities in East Africa for the past twenty.

Ebralie's Experience: Co-Founder and Admin. Earned a MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Has worked with International Mission Organization called The Outreach Foundation for 17 years and gained experience ranging from developing, implementing, Monitoring and Evaluating programs/projects. Ebralie has traveled extensively overseas with Outreach and brings to LMV a wealth of experience in management and administration and has been a huge asset and a valuable addition to the Legacy team.
