Clinton's Experience: Clint Gwin, Pathway Lending President since 2003, is responsible for daily operations, credit quality, new program development and strategic planning. He has extensive experience in compliance and financial institution regulation from his 10 years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Gwin received a MBA in May 2000 from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management and has an undergraduate degree in economics and business from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport. Gwin serves on the Advisory Council of the University Center for Industrial Services and SunTrust Community Development Corporation for its New Markets Tax Credit Program. Locally, he sits on the board of Affordable Housing Resources and serves as the Finance Committee Chair. Career highlights include the creation of the $12 million TN Rural Opportunity Fund, leadership of the largest non-bank CDFI in Tennessee, Chairman of the National FDIC Field Office Supervisors Council, Co-Project Manager of the Compliance Examination Manual Task Force, his 2011 appointment to the Federal Reserve Board Consumer Advisory Council. In 2018, Gwin was appointed by President Trump to serve as a member of the Community Development Advisory Board, which advises the US Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institution's Fund on policies and activities. In 2018 Gwin was also appointed as a member of the Consumer Advisory Board, which has traditionally played an influential role in advising the CFPB's leadership on new regulations and policies. The CFPB provides a single point of accountability for enforcing federal consumer financial laws and protecting consumers in the financial marketplace. |
