Pathway Lending provides underserved small businesses with lending solutions and educational services that result in job creation and economic development. Loans The organization reached $137 Million in assets as of 12/31/2017 and is certified as a CDFI by the US Treasury. Pathway Lending is endorsed by the Tennessee Bankers Association and has 38 Financial Institution Investors and 15 Public and other Private Stakeholders. Pathway Lending's programs are designed to work with banks not compete with them. Of the loans originated by Pathway lending 87% by dollar amount and 69% by number supported small, underserved and minority-owned businesses in qualified low-income geographies.

The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) at Pathway Lending empowers transitioning service members and veterans of all eras, other members of the military entrepreneurship community, including active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve component members, and military spouses who aspire to be or are existing business owners. The service territory for the VBOC at Pathway Lending includes Kentucky and Tennessee. Services, including the U.S. Small Business Administration's Boots to Business program, will be provided at Fort Campbell, Fort Knox, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base and Naval Support Activity Mid-South at Millington.
