The agency continually seeks ways to use its core competencies to expand its coverage footprint.

Needs
For 60 years, Catholic Charities has been on the forefront of meeting those in need throughout Middle Tennessee where they are in order to provide a realistic vision of hope and possibility. Our foundation is built on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, rooted in sacred scripture.
In order to offer those who come to us in need an opportunity to find their own pathway to hope and possibility, we depend on a combination of our fully committed staff, loyal and devoted volunteers, generous donors, community partners (both private and public), and private and public funders.
In addition to the critically needed dollars and volunteers, we find essential resources in other ways, including donations of household goods used to set up new households in our community and gently used and new clothing for use during cold weather months and for school aged children, a better informed community, including elected and appointed officials on all levels, and community supporters for our causes.
CEO Statement
Judy Orr: Growth here in Middle Tennessee, as wonderful as it is in so many ways, has laid bare a new face on many old concerns.
Each and every day at Catholic Charities, we work very hard to chip away at these - one client at a time, one family at a time, one household at a time.
People often come to us as a last resort for a particular need. With a bit of preliminary conversation, we frequently find that one need has a long trail of other needs following close behind, and they are usually related.
Our job is not yet done.
