Description
Open Arms Care Corporation provides 24/7/365 care for approximately 300 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide group home based residential living, day program facilities, extensive treatment programming and health care oversight. Care and services are provided by trained and credentialed staff that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements. Approximately half of our clients are considered medically-fragile and approximately half are non-ambulatory. Our services are regionally spread out with locations in Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis and Greeneville.

| OAC is fortunate to be mostly funded by state and federal programs. These funds are necessary to maintain the basic underpinnings of the 24 hour residential based programs, housing we provide. Unfortunately, the funding does not cover everything that is required for our individuals to live truly enriched lives. This mostly falls in the area of recreation, special events and in some cases medication, eyeglasses, hearing aides, DME and special adaptive medical equipment. |
