| As soon as Trey was diagnosed, I found out about this organization. The geneticist gave us a name of the diagnosis and told me my child would never be normal. Being a new parent and having a ton of information thrown at you, I needed to speak with caring individuals who had been through the same. All of the members were more than comforting when I met with them. I was given advice on what to expect from this diagnosis as well as hope. I look at everyone as family and they are definitely there to lean on when no one else understands. Trey has met many friends that can relate and enjoys the annual events.
