The curriculum immerses kids in an engaging, real-world environment in which they are challenged to create with code. By giving students the resources needed for success, we hope they will become leaders of the high-tech workforce.

Our camps go beyond the code by encouraging creativity, building collaboration skills, improving digital literacy and computing skills, creating an exciting and fun educational environment, and instilling problem-solving and logical thinking.

Throughout the week, students meet professionals from the technology industry who speak about education, computer science, technology, and more. At the end of camp, we host a "Demo Day" for parents and friends.

Hack for the Community is a 2-day event that brings together Nashville's tech community to create solutions that benefit Middle Tennessee's nonprofits.

Launched in 2014, Hack for the Community started as a project for the HCA Healthcare IT Group and the HCA Healthcare Foundation, but it has now grown into a community-wide initiative with Nashville's biggest technology employers working collaboratively to solve community challenges.

For the 2024 Hack for the Community, we are planning to focus the projects in four areas.

The four areas are:

Data visualization and storytelling,
Salesforce configuration and updates,
Process improvement and automation, &
Web/App development.

The key outcomes are engaging over 200 volunteers and 30 business partners and creating solutions for 20 nonprofits.
