Through support from our bank partner 1st Tennessee Bank, New Level CDC is able to offer a matching savings for home ownership. The program targets individuals and families who earn less than 80% of the HUD area median income for Nashville/Davidson County area. Participants who meet program requirements receive a dollar for dollar match from New Level CDC up to $2,000. Participants complete 8-10 hours of financial and housing education training, save monthly for over 6 months and work toward achieving their goals.

New Level CDC's housing development program layers equity from earned income and grants with low interest bank loans to develop housing that is affordable for low and moderate income families. This year we are completing 7 scattered site single family for sale homes and working with a private developer are providing 6 new affordable town homes for families within a 63 home mixed income project. We are doubling our rental housing portfolio from 19 to 40 units by acquiring duplexes and triplexes.
