Description
ACceleraTe is our free ACT prep and educational assistance and resource program. Started in 2019, the program services 30-100 youth per academic school year. The youth are focused on increasing ACT scores, prepping for college, and increasing GPAs.
Program Successes
We worked with a local high school senior with a learning disability who scored below the accepted college admission ACT score get into to a four year institution. Keeping in touch with her college success coach, she is maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Description
Impact Youth Program (iYP) services youth, ages 13-16, who cannot currently matriculate through the Project 180 curriculum. iYP focuses on developing core strengths and essential characteristics through age appropriate curriculum and programming with a preventative and proactive focus. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: social emotional development, conflict resolution and life skills training. Educational assistance will be offered as we work to identify learning difficulties for those participating in the program. Mentorship and counseling will be the foundation of this program with an emphasis on relatability and an empathetic approach. When the participants turn seventeen years old, they can enroll in PROJECT 180.IYP's goal is to decrease youth crime statistics by implementing various dynamic programmatic initiatives that address critical thinking, identifies underlying issues, and pinpoints cause and effect for detrimental and destructive behaviors.

Description
PROJECT 180 is a workforce opportunity and development program for youth aged 17-18. Whether a traditional (currently enrolled in a secondary education program) or non-traditional (those currently unenrolled in a secondary education program and/or seeking to obtain a GED) student, PROJECT 180 offers a curriculum track geared towards the successful attainment of a trade certification and job placement.Coupled with iYO's Entrepreneurship courses, PROJECT 180 offers options to participants that will improve their economic contributions, aid in the development of strategies and plans, and addresses economic disparities in urban communities. Essential core components such as soft skills, employability, critical thinking, decision making, and conflict resolution are among topics included in the initial core curriculum.
