MHA's Health Cost Coordination Program protects our clients and their families with the most appropriate and affordable health insurance or alternative ways to pay for healthcare. MHA offers navigation and access to State/Federal Health Insurance options, private market options and Medicare options for self-employed individuals and families, those with no group benefit options and the underinsured (insurance that does not meet one's specific needs). MHA also secures alternative solutions to cover the cost of healthcare for individuals and families for whom health insurance is not an options.

As a client's personal advocate, educator and navigator, MHA staff is able to simplify and translate health insurance policies, Medicare plans and transition, medical bills, healthcare reform and other medically related needs.

MHA offers access to primary care services, dental care and mental health counseling for insured individuals as well as low cost services for uninsured and low -income music industry professionals nationwide. MHA also offers counsel and access to financial help for prescription medication, medical supply resources and financial assistance for qualifying individuals.

| MHA's programs have been developed based on an immediate and long term needs of those who make their livings in music industry related areas. We are the first non-profit organization to bring health insurance into the healthcare continuum. This offers a unique challenge because there is no existing template to work from and the scope and laws surrounding health insurance are constantly changing. Music Health Alliance has embraced this challenge and we have worked successfully to stay ahead of these changes with solutions for our clients. We are very focused on the quality of each of our programs so careful consideration of the process models, results measurement and constructive improvements are being reviewed prior to the launch of each. |
