Description
A recruiting combine is a day which has a combination of skill testing and playing that is observed by college coaches who are interested in recruiting athletes to play volleyball at their college. The event will include support from major recruiting websites rival.com and 247.com. Registration for InFullMotion ACT Prep, listen and learn from NCAA Clearing House speakers, the Marines along with the Oasis Center Counseling who will be on hand to answer questions about college requirements and guidance. College coaches and players will be available to answer questions, work on skills and evaluate performance.

(Serving, Integrity, Teamwork, &Excellence) The SITE program offers the following services and programs to the participants throughout the school year during after school program and summer Our goal: to empower, enhance, produce and develop leaders for the future. The program Featured workshops will include: Teen life, and Fitness and Strength Training. Tentative events such as Teen Events, College tours, Lock In the SITE, Youth Athletic training conference, FCA Leadership camp, ect. TEEN LIFE- will focus on drug/ alcohol awareness, gang prevention, conflict resolution, and problem solving skill Infullmotion-Ages 13-18 will be exposed to ACT prep and test taking strategies . Teaching volleyball skills to young student athletes is challenge and also a privilege. This is a mentoring, character, self esteem building program to help shape the Starlings players by teaching them to give back to the community. Through coaching, you have the chance to impact the lives of new athletes,while also spreading the joy of volleyball to children. At the beginning of the season, there are a few points you will want to go over with players before sending them out on the court. These pointers will ensure that your team is knowledgeable about the sport and prepared to play. * Motor development using ball training * Focus on footwork training to allow for efficient movement * Training drills for individual development * Component drills to introduce team play at all levels * Special court sizing for Volley-Tots & Mini-Volleyball * Special rules for successful play at all levels * Demonstration of all ages in a competitive environment

Starlings Volleyball guiding concept has been to provide an opportunity for girls (ages 5-18) to participate regardless of their socioeconomic background. Club dues, if any, are a fraction of most junior club costs and no girl is to be turned away because of inability to pay.The equal opportunity for girls from a diverse, lower socioeconomic environments to train and compete at USA Volleyball's Junior Olympic level. Starlings provide an opportunity for females to participate in sports and increase the number of athletes playing on the collegiate level by empower females to make a difference for themselves, their families, and the community in which they live. -Outcome: to encourage teamwork, promote healthy life styles, provide a safe environment to enhance academic achievements, establish member clubs throughout the nation that are community-based and self-sustaining. The outcome for the individual participate receives opportunities for recruitment athletically and academically.

DIVAS (Dedicated, Intelligent, Vivacious, Athletic, Sister) school-features mentoring, engaging, interactive, small-group activities that increase participants' peer support, enhance their life skills, build their resiliency and strengthen their leadership skills. Safe Dating, STD awareness and prevention, career exploration, public speaking, and more. Character BUILDING- Youth will be introduced to the importance of working in a group, cooperation skills, sportsmanship, problem solving, and character development through hands on activities, scavenger hunts, game shows, role plays, and group games.Evaluation of participant and project success depends on the tracking grades, attendance, behavior, and monitoring of the students while working with school officials in order to evaluate these students effectively. Bi-Weekly check up along with progress reports, email, and class visits help keep us hands on with our members.

ChallengesThese clubs exists financially upon grants, fundraising, charitable, working LP field, Bridgestone, donations, sponsors, and partnership however in some cities, dues are charged to the participants to cover the costs of operation but no female is turned away. Starling clubs are represented in many major cities which offer corporations a wider geographic for marketing their products to consumers where Starling club exist. The Starlings program provides a wonderful opportunity for a company and/or person looking to associate itself with a worthy and humanitarian project to contribute funds and support to the club. Starlings' organization caters mostly to financially disadvantage young females, donations would be used to help improve and/or establish academic enrichment, after-school, summer programs, camps, tournaments, supplies, equipment, and volleyball programs in the area.
