Description
The Family Ministry supports the children of the incarcerated men we work with, the "forgotten and innocent victims" of crime. We provide Welcome Packs and themed Holiday care packages to remind them they are loved, prayed for, seen and not forgotten. Our care packages include age -appropriate Bibles, coloring books and crayons, devotionals, fun colorful pencils, Christian bookmarks, and more! Our Holiday packages include fun Christ-themed activities to ensure our kids know that Jesus is alive and we are saved by His grace! We partner with local churches to provide a community of support and often host fun events like Easter egg hunts, Trunk or Treats, Thanksgiving food drives, and Christmas sponsorships. Men of Valor also hosts its own family-related events throughout the year such as our back-to-school backpack drive and annual fall picnic and fishing day! Men of Valor not only offers genuine love and hope to the incarcerated but to their families as well.

Men of Valor already have men there visiting the prisons and jails to build relationships with the men who will be eligible for this program. Ex-offenders will live in one-bedroom apartments for 12 months while they participate in one-on-one and group counseling, Bible study, work placement, skills training, housing consultation and accountability measures. Description
MOV produces a weekly faith-based DVD that is being shared on closed circuit televisions inside some prisons in Tennessee. The program is called, Valor Life. It is hosted by Rudy Kalis and includes worship, Bible teaching, testimonies, music videos and other faith-based or encouraging content. The program plays on the prison's TV channel at a designated time determined by each prison, and inmates have the opportunity to Valor Life if they so choose. We are hoping this becomes a standard program in prisons statewide eventually.

Description
Men who are graduates from Men of Valor's pre-release prison, or come referred by another prison program, live in a duplex on the 26-acre Valor Ridge campus, owned by MOV. These men live in a group situation for the first six months, benefiting from a safe, supportive environment and receiving the accountability and the support they need as they transition back into society. The duplexes, opened in September 2018, house 60 men. Construction on a compartment complex will be complete in summer 2020. Men may choose four different tracks for the aftercare/transitional living program - 90 days, 180 days, 270 days, and 365 days.

Description
Men of Valor focuses on preparing a man to assume a responsible role in society to reduce recidivism. Aftercare includes assistance with job placement, housing, basic needs, church home identification, family restoration, life skills and post-release adjustment issues. The majority of the participants in the Aftercare Program are typically struggling with alcohol/drug addictions and without financial means of support. Our Aftercare Coordinators act as Community Resource Liasons to make sure MOV's 'investments' are protected.
