Description
Charis Ministries provides one service: delivering food boxes to the homes of people in need by means of church-based volunteers. We are focused on ensuring that people who need food assistance are not ignored if they lack mobility. Our method of delivery fails to apply to people in shelters or without a residence. In every other regard, our target population is inclusive of everyone experiencing an unexpected shortfall in their ability to obtain food supplies - families with children, adults of all ages, individuals with mental or physical disabilities, those who are ill, new households established after leaving abuse, people released from incarceration - and people who don't fit a standard profile for a target population, but who need help just the same.
