Description
Green Revitalization Initiative of Nashville provides FREE Certified Homeownership Educational Training classes for our "Road to Home Ownership" program for projected 120-150 low to moderate income families to include:*
Readiness to purchase a Home* Credit Readiness* Family Budgeting Readiness* Mortgage Loan Assistance Readiness* Home Maintenance and Retention Readiness* Mortgage Foreclosure readiness*
Asset Protection readiness Green Revitalization Initiative of Nashville further assist families with down payment assistance from our partner agency's THDA and GRIN in support of families purchasing energy efficient single family homes.
After completion of 8 - 16 hour courses, the participant will receive a certificate of completion to be presented to mortgage lenders for loan eligibility.
Program Successes
A participant not understanding opportunities and advantages of homeownership, then going through our ROAD TO HOMEOWNERSHIP program and was able to purchase their first home. Now that participant is helping others understanding the importance of homeownership.
