Two African Americans as additions to the board increased diversity. However, additional diversity would improve the composition of t he board. Establishing specific terms needs to be considered. Fundraising is the biggest challenge. Several house concerts as well as Foundation grants have provided funds for mattresses; however, more fundraising avenues are needed. Currently, am advisory taskforce is being formed to consider additional fundraising opportunities.
