CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
We have a very strong and talented Board of Directors this year, including several members with extensive business background and executive experience. We recognize that the ongoing strength of our organization relies heavily on an effective, engaged, passionate, and enthusiastic board. Therefore, we are constantly engaged in identifying and mentoring members for future board positions. Also, we are on the lookout for potential members in the community that are not only workers, but potential leaders. This is done by reaching out to those we know, creating awareness of Assistance League of Nashville in the community by using various social media tools, speaking to church and school groups, and educating our donors and fundraiser attendees about our work in Metro Nashville Public Schools. |
